Total Media Capital Invested
CEO & Co-Founder, QYOU Media, a public listed company
For a startup, time can be the ultimate currency to achieving exponential growth. Since 2005 we have been fine-tuning our approach to helping young and established brands launch in India and shorten their path to growth. Looking ahead to 2022, we are bullish on the European startup ecosystem and expect a significant part of our portfolio to come from the region. Despite the current market volatility, we expect to grow our portfolio, even more, this year. We encourage founders to seek alternative forms of financing such as media for growth to grow their brands and revenue.
CEO and Co-Founder, what3words
After the first TV campaign run in collaboration with Channel4 we realised that TV works well for our businesses and looked to replicate this approach in other markets including India. The partnership with Brand Capital International (The Times of India Group) has accelerated our presence in the region. A couple of months into our campaign with The Times Group, I had a phone call from a senior executive at one of the largest multinational technology companies saying that he spotted our what3words billboards in Mumbai airport. He wasn’t new to what3wordsas so many other people in India including businesses like Tata Motors have been using the app already. But it was then when he realised how far we’ve come in our journey of building a world-known brand. That phone call put a (big) smile on my face.
Managing Director, Square Panda
We decided to partner with Brand Capital because it was about having a strategic partnership that could help us understand the India market. India is one of those markets where having a network of connections is very important. Brand Capital International was the exact partner we were looking for to help us make those connections
CEO and Co-Founder, Indorse
This is a privileged opportunity for Indorse. The Times Group is a major media group and has a detailed understanding of key recruitment trends, so its support is a massive vote of confidence in our model. It will help us build the Indorse brand and become a major dependable source for employers seeking candidates with the right skills.
